Cous Cous & Friends is a new tasting point that offers not only couscous but Mediterranean specialties: moussaka and kolokythokeftedes (zucchini and feta meatballs) from Greece, Moroccan chicken and vegetable tajine but also casarecce with Trapani pesto.
With a new €2 ticket, available directly at the stand, Dolcemente Sicilia offers the most delicious recipes of Sicilian pastry, from cassatella to cannolo, from pignolata to cassata but also sfince, puffs and fruit salads.
All the flavor of couscous in 40 recipes
Meat, fish, vegetables, exotic and traditional recipes, and also a gluten-free variant. There are at least 40 recipes of couscous to choose from the menus proposed by Case del Cous Cous, the traditional tasting points. The tasting ticket costs 10 € and can be purchased at the ticket offices (from 21 to 30 September, from 11 am to midnight), or, avoiding the queues, online.
International recipes can be tasted at Casa del Cous Cous dal Mondo in via Regina Margherita on the corner of via Abruzzi, while the traditional flavours of North African cuisine can be tasted at Casa del Cous Cous del Mediterraneo in piazza Carlo Barbera (formerly piazza Marinella).
There are four tasting points on the beach: Casa del Cous Cous del Maghreb at the Capo San Vito hotel where the scents and smells of the land of couscous triumph; Al Waha in correspondence of via Savoia, which offers couscous recipes for all tastes, from those of the territory to international variations an also rice; Casa del Cous Cous of San Vito Lo Capo at Villetta Faro where the traditional recipes of the town are the protagonists and, finally, the new tasting point Cous Cous & Friends at Piazza Carlo Barbera (ex Piazza Marinella) where you can taste some Mediterranean specialties.
